Monday, December 7th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.
"’Tain’t worthwhile to wear a day all out before it comes."
(Sarah Orne Jewett, 1849–1909)
It has been said that 80% of our worries never come to pass. As a result, does it make sense to waste hours worrying when it is for naught? In Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus is recorded giving us some good advice concerning worry, and He concludes with these words in the 34th verse:
“Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
(Matthew 6:25-34)
"God, thank You for your daily provision and help.
Amen."
Walk by faith and not by sight.
