We can look around and recognize those who are looking for the pat on the back or expecting accolades for what they are doing.

In the wing, however, we also will see that one who is praying, sweeping the porch, mowing the yard, or picking up the piece of paper that blew in.

God who is over all sees and knows everything down to the intentions of the heart. The writer of Hebrews tells us:

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
(Hebrews 4:12)

God, let all I do be to glorify You.
