Fast-Acting Officer Stopped Rampage
FORT HOOD, Texas (Nov. 6) -- A civilian police officer who shot the Fort Hood gunman four times during his bloody rampage stopped the attacker cold, a U.S. Army official said Friday. Officer Kimberly Munley of the Fort Hood Police Department is a "trained, active first responder" who acted quickly after she "just happened to encounter the gunman," said Lt. Gen. Bob Cone, Fort Hood's commanding general.
Officials are crediting the quick action of Fort Hood Police Department Sgt. Kimberly Munley with stopping the deadly shooting on the base. She was nearby and able to respond quickly. Munley shot the gunman four times, Lt. Gen. Bob Cone said, and she herself was wounded.... "Really a pretty amazing and aggressive performance by this police officer," Cone said....
Cone was asked if Munley's shots brought down the assailant and stopped him from shooting. "That's correct," Cone said. "The critical factor here was her quick response to the situation."

This guy was a phsyciatrist and I bet he was on prozac. There is evidence tha most of our mass shootings the shooters were on drugs of the prozac type. Also there was news reports that eyewitness say they saw more than one gunman.

Sounds like this man was a radical Islamist. He prepared for this day, gave belongings away in the morning, and was READY to go where folks are UNARMED and kill them. A COWARD. Shot women in the back.....
I am sure they will find more information on his computer, and what he left in his vehicle.
america is becoming to PC, this is a case of not wanting to call a terrorist a terrorist.
God help those, that were under his care and treatment. I hope they are followed up on, I worry about them too
A well deserved salute and thank you to this officer. She saved untold lives. She should be honored as a hero.
