Saturday, October 17th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.
“Do not judge men by mere appearances; for the light laughter that bubbles on the lip often mantles over the depths of sadness, and the serious look may be the sober veil that covers a divine peace and joy.”(Edwin Hubbell)

Everyone we meet has a story. Each lives with a tale of worry or grief or joy or happiness or victory. To look on others' countenance is but to see the tip of the iceberg we carry with us.

The writer of Proverbs gives this advice:
“A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.”
(Proverbs 18:24)
"God, help me to see with Your eyes an hear with Your ears the friends You have for me to see here on earth. Amen."

Give God glory and praise!
