Monday, July 20th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“You don’t learn to praise in a day, especially since you may have been complaining for years! New habits take time to develop. But you can begin today, and practice tomorrow, and the next day, until it becomes part of you.”
Erwin W. Lutzer

What have you heard more of this past week, complaining or praise? The trouble is that more people are experts in complaining and infants in the art of praise.

We don’t learn to praise from reading the paper, from watching television for the most part, or even from attending our schools. Praise comes from the practice of a daily walk with God giving Him the glory He is due today, tomorrow, and every day. The Psalmist gives us this word:
“Let everything that hath breath praise The Lord. Praise ye The Lord.” (Psalm 150:6)

"God, Let me be found praising Your name so that others may learn the habit, also. Amen."

Thank You God, for Your mercy endures forever.
