Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.
A traffic officer pulled a motorist over to the curb and demanded to see his driver’s license. The driver produced a license, which the officer studied suspiciously for several minutes before waving him on. The officer explained, “You were driving so carefully, I thought for sure you had an invalid license.”
Isn’t that the way it is with children also? When they get quiet you wonder what they are up to. This is the challenge of integrity, to live in such a way that no matter who is looking they will only find you doing well. 2nd Thessalonians 3:13 reminds us,
“But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.”Integrity is such a rarity we must choose to walk the way Jesus would not just when someone is looking, but all the time.
Jesus set the example; Let us follow Him.
