Daily Nugget

  Today's cherished nugget from guest blogger, Pastor Bill.

“God doesn’t care so much about being analyzed. Mainly, he wants to be loved” (Philip Yancey).

Our society wants us to learn about and recognize God only if He fits into our pattern, our lifestyle. Strangely enough, no matter how much we know about God in our minds, we will miss Him if we do not receive His love and enter into a personal relationship with Him.  The apostle Paul reminds us:

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (I Corinthians 2:14).

God, forgive me where I have tried to "figure" You out. I want just to love You because You loved me first. Amen.
