Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

A friend, describing a person he had met the other day, said, “He looked like an ordinary person with good sense until he opened his mouth and started talking.” While he sort of meant it as a joke, there is a verse in the Bible that parallels what he was saying.

The writer of Proverbs 17:28puts it this way:

“Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise.”

"God, let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and redeemer. (Psalms 19:14)
Amen."
