Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“Man prefers to believe what he prefers to be true.”
(Francis Bacon 1561–1626)

The trouble with the statement above is that it does matter what is true whether we choose to believe it or not. Jesus said on John 14:6,

“I am the way, the truth and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

We must choose to prefer the truth, for it makes all the difference in this world as well as in the world to come.
