No man lives or dies to himself. We influence and are influenced by circumstances and chance encounters that God uses to mold us and those we meet. Even tragedies and seeming near misses are used to direct our paths as He sees fit. The apostle Paul reminds with these words in Romans 8:28:

“And we know that all things work together for good to them who love God and are called according to His purpose.”
