The quote above shows how quickly a thought can be stretched to an illogical conclusion. The truth is, as the writer of Romans 3:10 tells us,

“There is none righteous, no, not one.”

The first steps to becoming somebody (in Christ Jesus) is

(A) Admit we are sinners;
(B) Believe Jesus is God’s Son who died on the cross to pay for our sins and rose again the third day; and
(C) Confess Jesus Christ as Lord.
