No matter what you have or who you are in this life, there is a void without a relationship with the Heavenly Father. First, we were created by and for God to have fellowship with Him. Not only were we created for that purpose, but also we are commanded to love and to serve God. The words of Jesus in Matthew 22:37 record that commandment:

“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.”

"God, let our love and devotion to You be acceptable.
