Monday, November 1st, 2010. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

"A man can be as truly a saint in a factory as in a monastery, and there is as much need of him in the one as in the other." (Robert J. McCracken, 1904–1973)

It has been said we must bloom where we are planted, and that statement is especially true of the Christian life. God needs us to be as effective in the market place as we need to be in the pew or the pulpit. We are not necessarily to be isolated from the world, but to be insulated through the blood of Jesus. The apostle Paul gives both the Romans and us this advice:
“Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2).
Let us be the light of the world God needs us to be.

"God, thank You for the trust You have placed in us. Let me walk worthy of that trust.
Amen."

Bro. Bill

Our God is an awesome God.
