Thursday, March 11th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.” – Albert Einstein

Today in the post office I saw a lady who, by most standards, would be considered useless in our society. She was not very well dressed; her hair had issues that would make Phyllis Diller proud, and--believe it or not--she was not even wearing makeup.

I watched her stoop down and occupy a cranky child, while the toddler’s mom transacted her business. This lady may not have been successful in the world’s eyes, but to that room full of customers, she was of great value to the mom and to the child.

With these words, the writer of Ecclesiastes 9:10 reminds us to use what we have where ever we are and to do our best no matter the challenge:
“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do it with all thy might.”

"God, let me be of value for Your sake.
Amen."

God is Love!
