Saturday, January 30th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

With a shining quarter, a tiny little boy went into a candy store. With the utmost seriousness, studying each assortment with deep thoughtfulness, he wandered from case to case. Tired of waiting, his mother called, “Hurry, son, spend your quarter. We must be going.” The child replied, “But Mama, I have got to spend it carefully; I only have one.”

Remember when a quarter to spend would take a while to think through the choices?

Today the choices are harder to find since most things cost more than a quarter. It really doesn’t matter what you have, it is how we demonstrate our stewardship that matters.

Remember the parable of the talents found in Matthew 25:15-29 so we may hear the words of the master saying,
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” (v 21)
"God, take today what I have and help me to use it wisely.
Amen."

Seek His wisdom daily.
