Friday, January 22nd. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

When Sir Matthew Hale dismissed a jury because he was convinced that it had been illegally chosen to favor the defense attorney, the latter was highly displeased with him. As a result, when Sir Matthew returned from the circuit, Cromwell told him in anger that he was not fit to be a judge, to which Sir Hale simply answered, “That's very true.”

I can think of many folks for which I am blessed at their not acting as judge and jury against me. Praise God! For He has dismissed the jury, the prosecutor, and the defense, yet He is the righteous judge. The apostle Paul says,
“Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.”
(1Chorinthians 4:5)

"God, Thank you for Your Son.
Amen."

Praise God!
