Wednesday, July 29th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.
Struggle often provides us with our most productive times of growth. The caterpillar gains strength in struggling to tear out of its cocoon. Without the struggle, it does not have the strength to fly. Can we step back while we are in the midst of a struggle and see how that conflict will give us strength and insight for the future?
Struggles, trials, tribulations, contentions are not always fun, but usually such challenges do work for our benefit. The Apostle Paul encourages us with these words:
“We also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.”"God, Thank You for choosing my struggles. Thank You for being there with me through them.
(Romans 5:3-4)
Amen."
Give God glory, honor, and praise.
