Global Warming?

Boy, have you noticed how hot it is getting? This must be some of that global warming Al Gore (the self proclaimed inventor of the internet) has been warning us about. He has flown thousands maybe millions of miles burning tons of fuel into the atmosphere to warn us about this upcoming problem.

We are being warned that our ‘carbon footprint’ is causing the problem, and solutions are being explored and invented daily. We are encouraged to cut down driving and buy some of the Government Owned GM cars that get better mileage and an abundance of other solutions.

It has been suggested that diapers or at least recycling devices are place on cows to cut down on the methane gas being released into our fresh air. It is only a matter of time before we see Bob and Tommie out with their little pooch Buddy sporting his own C.A.R.D.I.G.A.N. (Controlled Air Recycling Doggy Individual Gas Absorbing Neutralizer). Where will it end?

It will end when we understand it gets hot in the summer. And to think millions of our money has been spent to study this fact. All weather patterns are cyclical to a certain degree, you will notice that even with our weather reaching toward three digits, we still are not setting that many new records.

In reality, we will not make a huge difference with what we can do, but all together we can make some difference. We are reminded by the psalmist, “The earth is the LORD’S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” (Psalm 24:1) Even when man in his ignorance is wrong in where he is looking for solutions. We who are God’s children know Who is the owner and has let us borrow the earth. May we be good stewards of what He has given us to use.
