Wednesday, June 10th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

There is a story to the effect that a certain society in South Africa once wrote to David Livingston, “Have you found a good road to where you are? If so, we want to know how to send other men to join you.” Livingston replied, “If you have men who will come only if they know there is a good road, I don’t want them. I want men who will come even if there is no road at all.”

Most folks look for a boulevard lined with velvet and a red carpet. God often allows boulders and trees across our path. He doesn’t leave these challenges to hurt or discourage us, but to strengthen and prepare us for greater opportunities ahead.

"God, Thank You for our challenges today. May I accept willingly the opportunities you give me with each of their challenges.
Amen."
