Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain—and most fools do.” (Dale Carnegie)

We see daily a world that steps on its friends to climb the ladder to success--a world that berates foes and friends, yea even kinfolk, to get what it wants. Yet at the top of the heap, they find the struggle has left friendship and everything else that matters destroyed. The writer of Ecclesiastes sums it up well:
“Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.” (2:11)

May we follow the advice of the writer of Proverbs:
“A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.” (18:24)
If we do so, then we have something that really matters whether at the top, middle, or bottom of the heap.

Praise God today as He has so blessed you.
