Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

Did you know that your heart emits an electrical pulse external to our bodies 5000 times greater than our brains, and can be scientifically measured up to 10 feet away from our bodies? The statement above was shared by Gordon Aumiller, a friend of mine from California. Gordon is an engineer who seldom wastes words, but is a wealth of information.

As I thought about this information some things that would confirm it made sense. For instance you have probably noticed a human close to a TV or radio can affect the signal. But have you also noticed how good you feel when in the presence of a friend or family member when love is around? This might explain why we enjoy being in the company of certain people, because our hearts are ‘beating’ in unison with the same melody, or in harmony with each other.

There is a lot about the human body we will never know, but the Psalmist proclaims,
“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” (Psalm 139:14)
If we can affect someone or something in a way that can be measured from a distance of 10 feet just think what a hug can do.

Try this, give someone you love an extra hug today and notice how great it makes you feel. Don’t you just love this kind of scientific experiment?

Praise God today as He has so blessed you..
