WHEN A PLUNGE IS A... "NORMALIZE"

POLITICO

The Gallup Poll on Saturday released the first job-approval rating for President Obama, based on interviews during his first three full days in office: 68 percent.

Now that he’s in office, Obama’s approval ratings are starting to normalize, as partisan back-and-forth picks up. Just a week ago, Gallup found an astonishing 83 percent approval of how he has handled his transition, showing he had even won over most Republicans...

Now let's do a little math first. In Obama's first... less than a week...three days... in office... his approval rating has plunged from 83% all the way down to 68%. Now that is a plunge of... let's see now... are you ready??? A plunge of 15% in just three days in office. And Politico wants to call it simply NORMALIZING?

Wonder what they would have referred to a 15% plunge in popularity in three days for President Bush? Bet it wouldn't have been NORMALIZE.

Obama can't stand many more NORMALIZING days like those last three.

Now I wonder how long Mr. Allen, the author of the above article, had to think to come up with the bland word NORMALIZE to describe this drastic plunge in popularity?

never thought the "change" would be in his approval rating......that must be a world record for a drop that quick.
