Daily Nugget

   Monday, May 27th, 2013.  Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“The greatest glory of a free-born people is to transmit that freedom to their children” (William Havard).

Most of us desire to give good things to our children, especially things that will be able to be a blessing to them. I want to thank those families that have lost a member in the service to our country, in protecting our freedom.  In Psalms 33:11-12 we get these great words, “The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.  Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.”

God, thank You for our freedoms. Help us to elect leaders dedicated to keeping our freedoms and to bringing our country back to “One Nation under God!” Amen.

Give God all glory and praise!
