Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.
“The heart of the issue in worship is this: My life needs God's presence to work God's purpose in my life.”God desires for us to worship Him. It is our privilege to be able to worship Him. There is a void that can only be filled by our accepting God for Who He is and paying the respect to Him that He is due. To do that, we must obey His commandments.
May our passion be as the writer of Psalms 42:1 describes,
“As the hart (deer) panteth after the waterbrooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.”"God, let our desire be to draw near to You to worship You and You only. Let our worship be You and not the works of our hands.
God is Love! Let us reflect that love.
