Hey, this is the Chaplain again.

Well, it's 2011. So, what does that mean? I've been thinking about that, and one word that keeps coming to my mind is - CHANGE.

There will be lots of changes in 2011. There will be major changes in just about every area of our lives. There will be some wonderful, but maybe a little scary, changes in the world of technology... In medicine, 2011 could produce some exciting discoveries... 2011 will usher in lots of changes in politics, in our nation and right here in our city.

Yes, 2011 means change. Although 2011 will bring a lot of changes one thing remains unchanged and unchangeable; God and His plan for you. In Jer. 29:11 God says,

"I'll show up and take care of you as I promised ... I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out-plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for."

Do you feel a little uncertain about 2011? Well God doesn't. He knows exactly what He's doing.

Now, that doesn't mean life is always going to be easy. You may have some real difficult places to go thru. But He will be right there. But remember, these promises are not universal; they are for God's children. Like a good father, He will take care of His kids. The question is; are you one of His?
