The lie the serpent told Eve is this as recorded in Genesis 3:5,

“For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”

Be Ware! The age old lie to Eve is still the same lie the old devil uses to lure many today.
