Tuesday, October 13th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

One of my favorite quotations is
“It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”

This quotation, or one similar, has been attributed to Abraham Lincoln, Mark Twain, George Elliot, and even Confucius. No matter who else made the following remark, we find it first in the Bible:
“He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit. Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding>”
(Proverbs 17:27-28)

"God, help me to choose my words carefully, and when possible, let Your word suffice.
Amen."

Give God glory and praise.

I'll second those sentiments. Good points.
