Thursday, June 25th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“A man without mirth is like a wagon without springs: He is jolted disagreeably by every pebble in the road.”
(Henry Ward Beecher)

Have you noticed that angry people are usually angry where ever they are; a griper will gripe no matter the circumstances, and a generally happy person will be happy even in less than favorable situations.

Choosing to be happy and reflecting the love of God not only will you feel better but also will make you become a cup of cheer to someone else. The writer of Proverbs remind us:
“A merry heart does good like a medicine.” (17:22)

"God, thank You for a myriad of reasons to be cheerful. Help me to be an encouragement to others.
Amen."

God has a sense of humor. Look at the armadillo.
