Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

A rural brother, considered a bit old-fashioned, visited a great city temple. As the eloquent minister drove home some great truth, the ruralite shouted, “Praise the Lord!” Whereupon an usher touched him on the arm and whispered, “Be quiet. You can’t ‘praise the Lord’ in this church.”

God pity both preacher and church!

We all need to praise God. There is something inside each of us that must reach out to the God who created us. The world would try to squelch us into remaining silent while the whole universe groans to give him praise and glory with every means it has. Jesus summed it up when he told the disciples,
“I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.” (Luke 19:40)

Let us beat the rocks, hills and streams in praising God with every means He has given to us. Let us praise him by stomping our feet, clapping our hands, using our whistles, and even our voices when necessary. Praise ye The Lord!

Give all glory and praise to God.
