“When you have closed your doors, and darkened your room, remember never to say that you are alone, for you are not alone; God is within, and your genius is within—what need have they of light to see what you are doing.” —Epictetus

John 8:12 tells us,

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

Isn’t it good to know that when you have the light of the world (Jesus) you are never really alone? Nor do we have to stumble around groping to find our way for we know that

“He will never leave us or forsake us” (Hebrews 13:5).

Give praise to God who knows you and still loves you.
