Here is a little nugget I found in my in box today from a dear friend of God...

“Much prayer, much power. Little prayer, little power. No prayer, no power.”
(E. M Bounds)

At a time when our nation and world is looking for answers to our economic, moral, and problems of droughts most people are clinging to the wrong hope. The majority of the world is standing with their hands out stretched looking for temporary solutions instead of folded on bended knee asking for intervention from The Heavenly Father. Not to go to God in prayer is to leave our most powerful weapon in it’s holster. Second Chronicles 7:14 tells us, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land.”

After all wouldn’t repentance and revival cure 99% of our problems?

Thanks Bill!

Perhaps I shouldn't have called it a "little nugget" for it truly holds mammoth implications for us. God constantly scolded Israel for looking to the "world" for solutions to their problems instead of looking to Him.

Would that we would ever learn... to learn... from past mistakes.

We would be so wise... indeed.

UPDATE!

Bill sends me this funny little "Amen" addition...

If we choose not to learn from our mistakes, we might as well quit making them.
